1. All horses should be insured for transportation. Whilst our driver takes all reasonable precautions and we are insured to transport horses for hire and reward, in the event of an Accident, the client is Liable for any damage, injury or death that occurs to, or is caused, their horse. Or a horse in their care2. Please ensure your horse has a valid passport. This is a legal requirement during transportation. The Original document must be given to the driver before the start of the Journey. If the driver arrives at the Journey departure address, and is not supplied with the passport document Prior to the start of the Journey, a cancellation fee of £50 will be charged Plus mileage at £1 per mile round trip No further Journey will take place until documentation Is provided.3. The client will be liable for the cost of repair of any damage caused to our horsebox/lorry, by themselves, their horse or a horse in their care and/or passenger. There will be an opportunity to inspect the lorry for any Existing damage before the journey4. We can carry two passengers and a limited amount of tack and other belongings/equipment at the Owner’s risk.All passengers must wear seat belts during transport, and we reserve the right to deny Travel to passengers if the driver’s instructions are not followed5.Abuse (verbal or physical) towards any driver/staff of Hooves on the move Horse Transport will not be tolerated. A cancellation fee of £50 plus mileage at £1 per mile round trip will be charged. If necessary, the Police Will be involved6. Should a horse in transport with us become unwell or very unsettled during a journey, we reserve the Right to contact the nearest vet for treatment or sedation if necessary The client Will be liable for any Veterinary expenses and any effects this has on the quoted journey Charges in this circumstance are applied at £20 per hour.7.Should road, or loading conditions delay the journey, Hooves on the move Horse Transport will not be held Liable.8.Should unreasonable, abnormal or unusual detention of the transport vehicle occur at either point of Collection or point of delivery of the horse(s), charges will be applied to cover costs Of vehicle release And costs involved in loses and driver expenses.9.Prices are quoted using the information provided by the client at the time of booking. If changes are made or information is incorrect, additional charges may be applied (to cover mileage and driver costs)10.Thirty minutes of loading time is included in the quote, Should your horse take longer to load, an Additional fee of £5 per 15 minutes will be charged Should loading of the horse not Be successful, you May be charged a cancellation fee of £50, plus mileage at £1per mile round trip and Time taken attempting to load your horse11 Full payment must be made on the day of transport at the very latest
